Mrs. Mildred Sampson, age 84 of Royse City and formerly of Bogata, died on Friday, March 16, 2018 in Royse City Health and Rehab Center. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 2:00pm in the First Assembly of God Church of Bogata with Reverends Bill Shaddock and Jacob Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Cuthand Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm at the church prior to services. Wood Funeral Homes, Bogata have charge of the arrangements. She was born in McCrury on September 3, 1933, the daughter of True Robert and Rosa Cook Byram. She was a seamstress. Surviving is her son, Rodger Kuhl and wife, Debra of Forney; her brother, Harold Byram and wife, Karen of Leonard; her sister, Billie Northcutt and Jimmy of Bogata; 8 grandchildren: Shannon Kuhl of Plano; Melanie Saulters and husband Jason of Caddo Mills; John Kuhl of Greenville; Gail Kuhl and Robin Kuhl of Cincinnati Ohio; Kelli Mussett and husband, Michael of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Brandon Smithson and wife, Kristi of Allen; Melissa Lawson and husband, David of Forney; numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Earl Kuhl on June 22, 2002; her parents; and 7 brothers, James, Elvin, Elvis, Bobby Joe, Leon, Jimmy, and Tommy and one sister, Nola Fay.
