Brenda Jean Mauldin age 71 of Paris and formerly of Bogata died Sunday in Heritage House Rehab in Paris.
Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, June 13 under the Pavilion of Cuthand Cemetery with Rev. Michael Brawner officiating. Burial will be in Cuthand Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home of Bogata. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born August 20,1946 in Rugby Texas, the daughter of Oscar and Maggie Patton Mayes. She married Ramon Mauldin Feb 4,1963 at Griffin Ranch south of Bogata.
She began the first Senior Citizens Center in Waskom, Texas \several years ago and enjoyed serving the seniors there.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Patsy Mayes and Louise Cunningham and a brother Nolon Wade Mayes.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Ramon of Paris, a daughter Regina Parker and husband Kelley of Balch Springs, and a son Jeff Mauldin and wife Candy of Honey Grove five grandsons Kenneth Mauldin and wife Robin, Jason Mauldin, Johnathan Mauldin and wife Kristina, Sean Parker and Matt Parker, three great grandchildren with one on the way, two sisters Murel Pratt of Detroit and Lucille Parker of Lubbock, a very special niece Martha McCain and husband Randy and several other nieces and nephews
