CHARLES ARMSTRONG Obituary

Mr. Charles A. Armstrong, age 75 of Bogata died Tuesday, June 12 at Focused Care Nursing Home in Clarksville.

Funeral service will be held Saturday June 16 at 2pm at First Baptist Church in Bogata with Rev Bob Posey officiating. Burial will be at Bogata Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home of Bogata. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

 He was born August 7, l942 in Red River County the son of Wood and Opal Kilgore Armstrong.  He retired from Campbell Soup Company after over 35 years of service and worked with cattle beginning at a young age.

He is survived by his sister Yvonne Williams and her husband Doyce of Forney, a niece Karen Reed and her husband Larry of Ovilla, Texas, a nephew David Williams and his wife Kari of Mesquite, three great nephews, Chris and Cody Williams, Brent and wife, Krystal Williams; great-great nieces and nephews Katelynn, Hailey, Brayden, Karter and Kingston Williams.  He is also survived by Brenda Williams, widow of his nephew Clint Williams who passed away in 2014.
