Dixie Elizabeth VanCleef

Dixie Elizabeth VanCleef of Deport, Texas passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at 65 years of age.  She was born August 17, 1954 in Midland, Texas to Loris Rufus and Mary Joyce (Andrew) Stell.

She leaves her husband of 47 years, John VanCleef of Deport, Texas; her mother, Mary Joyce Stell; their children, Denise VanCleef of Deport, Texas John Alton VanCleef V and his wife Danielle of Burleson, Texas, and Daniel Brent Snyder; grandchildren, Kasey Marie Shearer, Brittney Anne Snyder, Justin Tyler Smith, JoJo VanCleef, Jonathan Hinkle, Cori Beth VanCleef, John Alton VanCleef VI, Isabelle Reese VanCleef and Harper Lee VanCleef; two great grandchildren, Tristan George and Theodore James; brothers, Loris Rufus Stell, Jr., Murray David Stell, and Anthony Keith Stell; sister, Dana Kay Velasco and last, but not least her beloved animals.  She is preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Dori-Anne VanCleef.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, October 18, 2019 in the Chapel at Wood Funeral Home Deport.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
