Glen Bo Whitney

Glen Wayne Whitney affectionately known as Bo, of Talco, Texas passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 in Mount Pleasant, Texas at the age of 83 years.  He was born on July 30, 1936 in Franklin County, Texas to Farris and Lula (Brown) Whitney.

Bo worked all his life in the oil fields and was an avid fisherman.

Bo is survived by his children, Sunday and James Nicholas of Decatur, Alabama, Mark Whitney of Talco, and Sherry Davidson of Hagansport, Texas; grandchildren, Lance Whitney, April Whitney, Carry Whitney, Stephanie Haavik, Jennifer Baldwin, Brittany Whitney, Brandy Whitney, MacKenzie Whitney, Mandy Walls, Melanie Woodall, and Gina Woodall; great grandchildren, Bailey, Eli, Paisley, Josh, Adrian, Mia, Julie, Morgan, Addie, and Bella; a sister, Beatrice Van Hooser.  He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Larry Whitney and Tony Whitney; sister, Jean Martin and brothers, Albert and Jerry Whitney.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 18, 2019, in the Chapel at Wood Funeral Home in Bogata.
