Hoopie Randolph

Mr. L.R. [Hoopie] Randolph age 80 of Paris and formerly of Bogata died Wed June 6, 2018 in Legends Healthcare Center of Paris.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 9 under the Pavilion of Bogata Cemetery with Wade White officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Wood Funeral Home of Bogata. 

He was born May 12, 1938 in Sulphur Bluff Texas the son of Sip Thurman and Florence Inida Holder Randolph.  He owned and operated a used car dealership in Paris for several years.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Adams in December 13, 1966; his parents; two brothers, Sip Randolph, Jr and Gerald Wayne “Popeye” Randolph, and one sister, Syble Frances Taylor.

He is survived by two sons Monte Randolph and wife Leeanna of Bogata and Randy Randolph and wife Lorry of Rockwall, and two daughters Reece Randolph of Paris and Julie Randolph of Talco, as well as three sisters Carolyn Choate and husband Randy of Rockwall, Patsy Potts and husband Pat of Dike, Texas, and Theresa Toland and husband, Mike of Sulphur Springs. Ten grandchildren:  Christopher Randolph; Reed Randolph; Rhett Randolph; Olivia Randolph; Keyli Holt, Marissa Holt; Kobe Pruitt; Erika Blackwell; Stormy Reeves, and Lucas Reeves and 5 great-grandchildren, Autumn Nolen; Ryleigh Maglaris; Harper Maglaris; Mason Watkins and Nora Maples also survive.
