Kyle Carpenter Obituary

Kyle was born on February 25, 1964 in Dallas, and passed away from this life on January 23, 2011. Kyle is the son of James and Juavanee Carpenter and beloved grandson of the late Pet and Oma Daniell and Lon and Drew Carpenter. His parents survive him, as does his sister, Karen LeCour and brother-in-law, James, nephews Logan and Hayden all of Farmers Branch. Cousins in this area include indsey and Ina Ward of Bogata; Doris Murphy of Deport, Kay and Chuck Chance and Barbara Patterson of Paris and many others in the Dallas area. At the age of 2 years, Kyle was enrolled in Special Care School for Handicapped Children. He was there until being transferred to the Career Training Center in Garland. Upon moving to Deport in 1995, he was a client at MHMR Center of Clarksville and lastly at EduCare in Paris. Kyle has made friends at all his stops, as well as Legend Healthcare where he has lived the past year. We are very grateful to the good people who have aided us in making Kyle's life very enjoyable for him and his family. He had a special, loving, personality and extended it to everyone he met. Of all these folks, two are the very best-Ruth and Bill Chipman. Kyle loved so much he wanted to sit between them and corner all of her attention, so Bill had to be very understanding. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Wednesday, January 26 at 1:00pm at the First United Methodist Church of Deport with Reverend Deborah May officiating. Interment will follow in Bogata Cemetery. Wood Funeral Homes have charge of the arrangements. Serving as pallbearers will be special cousins, Bob Morris of Little Elm; Mark Morris of Carrollton,; Jerry Hutson of Bogata; Jim Patterson of Paris; Kenneth Adams of Sulphur Springs, and dear friend, Bill Chipman of Deport. No formal visitation will be held, but the family will be receiving friends at the residence in Deport. Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 125 Deport, TX 75435
