Staci Castillo Obituary

Staci Lynne Castillo age 44 of Lantana, Texas and formerly of Bogata died on Sunday July 8, 2018 near her home.

Funeral services were held Friday July 13 in Johntown Missionary Baptist Church with Rev John Purviance officiating. Burial was in Bogata Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home.

Staci was born Dec 26,1973 in Paris the daughter of Ronnie and Kathy Kerley Alford. She worked at DUO Security as an analyst. She was passionate about here nieces and nephews. She was also passionate about her dogs (her kids) She loved to read and loved to cook. She was passionate about here job and making sure she went above and beyond at all times. She was once described that when she would walk into a room as lighting up the entire room.  She had an organic garden that she had recently planted. She loved hiking, vacations on the beach, and working out as much as she could.

She is survived by her husband Michael Castillo of Garland, her parents Kathy Alford of Paris and Ronnie Alford of Clarksville, her sister Amanda Miller of Mt Vernon, her dogs Max and Lucy, brother in law, Tony Castillo Jr of Garland; a sister in law Tricia Castillo Moreno of Rockwall, sister in law Tammy Castillo Criss of Forney, nieces, Valerie Guzman of Forney, niece Victoria Guzman of Forney, nephew Anthony Guzman of Forney, nephew Nicholas Moreno of Rockwall; nephews, Randal and Luke Meredith, Cooper Peterson, all of Mt. Vernon, and niece, Alyssa Early of Bogata.

One of her favorite daily scripture was James l: 2-4 “We are encouraged to be joyful when difficulties come our way”
