Wilma (Moore) Moore

Wilma Louise Moore, 88 of Bogata, died on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Brentwood Terrace of Paris.  Funeral Services have been scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:30 am in the First Baptist Church of Bogata with Reverend George Spears officiating.  Burial will follow in Bogata Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends from 10:00-10:30 at the Church on Wednesday.  Wood Funeral Homes, Bogata have charge of the arrangements.

She was born on August 7, 1929 in Cuthand, Texas, the daughter of Emmett and Dorothy Wilson Moore.  She married Russell Moore on August 2, 1947.  He preceded her in death on January 19, 1976.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Dotty Pemberton and her parents.  She was retired from the JC Penney Company and was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Bogata.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Ricky Nolen of Gilmer; grandchildren: Jody Nolen of Longview and Julie Smith of Arkansas; great-grandchildren:  Jessica Weatherall of Gilmer and Jerrica Weatherall of Denton; former son-in-law, Richard Pemberton and wife, Mary Lou of Atlanta; step grandchildren:  Charles Pemberton and wife Amanda of Maud; Amy Yawn and husband, Randy of Wier, Texas; step-grandchildren:  Emily, Leah, and Megan Pemberton and Carter Yawn.
