Zella Mae Duffee Putteet

Zela Mae Duffee Putteet, age 86 of Bogata died Friday February 4 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 8 at 2:00 pm in the Bogata Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Daniels officiating. Burial follows in Bogata Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Putteet was born October 9,1924 near Turner Lake in Red River County. Texas the daughter of Gilbert and Alma Hamilton Duffee. She married Alford Lane Putteet on February 23,1946. He preceded her in death November 13,1999. She is survived by her children Rita Johnson and husband Danny of Grand Prairie, Sue Davies , Vickey Morse and husband Steve, and Brenda Yancey and husband, Donnie all of Texarkana, Pat Yeatman of Bogata, Rickey Putteet of Ft Worth, Connie Mack Putteet and wife Tammy of Avery and Regina Stewart and husband Darrell of Irving, two sisters Hazel Woodall and Pansy Willingham both of Dallas, fifteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
