Alma Bell Cook

Alma Bell Cook, age 93 of Tulsa and formerly of Cunningham, died on June 20, 2011 in Northeast Methodist Hospital of San Antonio. Funeral Services have been scheduled for 10:00am on Saturday, June 25, in the Life Tabernacle Church of Cunningham with Reverend Russell Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the services at the church. Alma was born on January 26, 1918 in Cunningham, Texas to Curt and Gladys O'Neal. She attended school in Cunningham and attended ORU in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Otha Cook in Cunningham, TX in 1933. They moved to Tulsa in 1944. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Lawrence O'Neal, and three sisters, Thelma O'Neal, Betty Clark, and Jo Patman. She is survived by one son, Vaughan Dean Cook of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Tim Cook and wife, Jane of Chesterfield, Missouri, Tammy Farrington of Grapevine, TX and Jeff Cook of Fillian, Alabama; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul O'Neal and wife, Juanita of Malvern, Arkansas; three sisters, Helen Ashford of Carlsbad, NM; Ruth Tucker of Garland, TX and June Williams of Hugo, OK; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
