Ann was born to Hobert and Faye Bell on their dairy farm where she was raised.
She was a wonderful person and loved by many throughout her life. Mom was
very proud of her family and was our family historian, full of stories and
interesting genealogy of the family, and she will be dearly missed by us all. She
was the best mom anyone could have ever asked for. She was involved in all our
lives from Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4H, FFA, and every sport we participated in, she
made sure we had what we needed but, at the same time never spoiled us but
allowed us to experience life’s demands.
Ann and Woody married on June 21, 1958, had us four kids, and raised us in Bells,
Texas. After Dad retired from TP&L they moved back to their home town of
Bogata and bought a farm in the Pine Branch area. Mom was loved by many
friends, neighbors, and family members. The family would like to thank all the
friends and family that reached out to love on her after Dad passed away. She
loved living at the farm, watching all the wildlife, and the peace and quiet of the
country.
Ann is reunited in Heaven with her husband, Woody, her parents, Hobert and
Faye Bell, and brother, Mac Bell. She is survived by her two sisters, Nancy Denny
and Mary Stewart; her four children, Mark Duffee, Don Duffee (Kathy) of
Longview TX; Denise (Mark) of Caddo, OK; and James Duffee (Sharon) of Howe
TX; and the blessing of 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Services for Ann will be on Saturday, November 1, at the Wood Haggard Funeral Home
Chapel in Bogata, Texas and burial will follow at the Bogata Cemetery.
Visitation is at 11:00am and Service at 12:00pm
