Billy Don Black

Billy Don Black of Bogata, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the age of 75 years.  He was born on July 30, 1944 in Cuthand, Texas to Billy and Allie (Coggings) Black.

Billy Don was a Cowboy most of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Black of  Bogata; their children, Daphne and her husband Stephen Brooks of Talco, Texas, Shayne Black and Lance Black both of Bogata, Texas; one grandchild, Katie Black and her three children, Christopher O'Bier, Autumn O'Bier and Liam Black.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Nolan Belcher and two sisters, Frances Sheffield and Doris Baker.

Funeral services for Billy Don will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 3, 2020 in the Chapel at Wood-Haggard Funeral Home - Bogata.  Interment will follow at the Cuthand Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
