Billy Gene Jackson

Billy Gene Jackson, 56 of Blossom went to be with his heavenly father on January 31, 2012 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 4, 2012 in the Blossom Church of the Nazarene at 2:00pm with Andy Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom. Visitation will be Friday night from 7-8pm at Wood Funeral Homes, Deport. Billy was born on September 9, 1955 in Odessa, Texas to Nelson and Claudean Jackson, who have preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Donovan Jackson of Mt. Pleasant, TX; daughter, Rehannon Hickman and husband, Jock of Paris; brothers, Doyle Smith and wife, Johnnie of Detroit; Steven Jackson and wife, Debra of Blossom, Thomas Jackson and wife, Debbi of Blossom, Keith Jackson and wife, Shawn of Paris; sister Sharon Bridgers and husband, David Bridgers of Paris; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Billy was a family man who loved his family. He was a Big Man, had a Big Heart and was a kind and gentle soul.
