Bobby Watts of Longview, Texas passed away Monday, November 15, 2021, at 68 years of age. He was born Robert Neal Watts on July 21, 1953, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Henry Arvin and Peggy Jo (Barber) Watts.
Bobby loved the Lord and his family. He was a faithful member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Longview, Texas. He was also a member of AA and proud of his many years of sobriety. Bobby honorably served in the United States Navy. He led a full life and traveled all over the world. Bobby had a good memory and loved to tell a good story. Bobby also was a talented artist and painted many pieces for family members.
God has a purpose in life for every person. God has worked through Bobby to bring people to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Left to cherish Bobby’s memory are his two daughters, Angela Christi Huffstuler and Sherri Watts; four grandchildren; his brother, Rick Watts and his wife, Aileen; two sisters, Leslie Watts, and Vicky Ellen Bean; special aunt, Susie and Billy Bryan, Cathy Reeves, and Mardi and Mickey Sinnreich; uncles James A. and Betty Sue Watts, and Morris Derwin and Joann Watts; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Morris Arvin and Lillie Lee Watts and Joseph Franklin and Wilma Wundt Barber; a brother, Larry Watts and by a nephew, Christian Blake Austin.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at St. Anthony Catholic Church located at 508 N Sixth Street Longview, Texas. Interment will be at the Bogata Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
