David Lynn Pirtle

David Lynn Pirtle, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, at the age of 70, in Clarksville, Texas. Born on May 24, 1954, in Talco, Texas, David lived a life rich in experience and purpose.

David dedicated much of his life to the construction industry. He initially became known as the owner of Dave's Sound Productions in Paris, Texas, where he combined his passion for music and business. In time, he transitioned to a flooring and cabinet contractor, where he specialized in laying tile, showcasing his craftsmanship and commitment to quality.

David was the cherished father of Julie Davidson and her husband Alex and a loving grandfather to his grandchildren, Sawyer and Parker Davidson. He is also survived by his brother Mike Pirtle and sister Debbie Pirtle, whose lives he touched with his kindness and warmth. David was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pirtle, and his parents, Winnie Faye and Billy Pirtle. His family will remember him for his steadfast love, his vibrant spirit, and his unwavering support.

A memorial service in honor of David's remarkable life will be held on January 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Wood-Haggard Funeral Home in Bogata. He was laid to rest in a private ceremony on January 8, 2025.
