Donald Ray Johnson

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Donald Ray Johnson, Sr. who left us peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on April 3, 1965, in Pineville, Louisiana, Donald spent his life dedicated to the land as a ranch hand in Bogata, Texas.

Donald will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Donald is survived by his son Donald Johnson, Jr.  Sisters, Kelita Johnson and Katherine Johnson.  He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and James Johnson.

Funeral services to celebrate Donald’s life will be held in Natchitoches, Louisiana.  We invite everyone who knew him to join in honoring a man whose spirit touched so many. Let’s come together to share stories, laughter, and tears as we say goodbye to a cherished friend. Rest in peace, Donald. Your legacy will carry on in our hearts.
