Dovie Pearlene Griffith, 93 passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born in Bogata, Texas on September 22, 1932 to parents Claude and Velma Elliott. Raised by her grandparents, George and Maggie Franks.
She married at 14 to Willie D. Griffin. Together they raised 6 children, had 11 grand children, 24 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Dovie was laid to rest at the Smith Cemetery in the Rosalie Community on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
