Eddie Jo (Littlefield) Chesshire

Eddie Jo Chesshire of Mount Vernon, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 86 years of age.  She was born in Franklin County, Texas on August 17,1935, to Ottis M. and Pearl Elizabeth (Johnson) Littlefield.

Eddie was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She loved sewing and making crafts, but she enjoyed her flowerbeds the most.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Thomas and Sharon Byrd of Hagensport, Texas, Elizabeth and Vance Chesshire of Glenwood, Arkansas, and Lisa and James Hipps of Splendora, Texas;  her grandchildren, Tonya and Heath Guthrie, Melissa and Rickey Snider, James Allen and Kim Chesshire, Samantha and Jeremy White, Trista Lilley, Larry Dyer, Londa Dyer, Andy Dyer, Heather Link, Kenneth Dyer, Gabriel Dyer, Casey and Lacey Black, Cameron Black, and Elizabeth and Kevin Widener ;  numerous great grandchildren, and  great-great grandchildren; niece, Jennifer Littlefield; nephew, Wayne Littlefield of Plano, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Chesshire, her parents, son, Larry Zack Dyer, and her brother, Larry Littlefield.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the pavilion in the Bogata Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday evening at Wood Haggard Funeral Home-Bogata.
