With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Ella Jane Glass, who was born on June 17, 1946, in Paris, Texas, and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on September 14, 2025. Jane lived a life rooted in faith, overflowing with joy, kindness, and unconditional love for those around her.
Jane dedicated her life to serving others—both professionally as an Activity Director in the healthcare industry in Red River County, and personally as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Guided by her deep Christian faith, she touched countless lives with her compassion, creativity, and unwavering belief in God’s promises. To know Jane was to see Christ’s love in action.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jennifer Daniels, and her husband Ricky; her cherished son, Benjamin Glass, and his wife Molly; and her treasured grandchildren, whom she adored: Joshua and Erica Barnes, Blake and Ashley Barnes, Jenna and Caleb Stephens, Elizabeth Barnes, Clara Dell Glass, Caleb and Bailey Daniels, and Jamie and Brian Cobb. Her great-grandchildren, Charlee, Grayson, Oliver, Colton, Kaydence, Kaylee, Cole, Parker, Morgan, Tanner, Aydin, and Letty, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Martha Kay and G.R. Oney.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years, C.D. Glass, and her daughter, Martha Michelle Glass. Though her earthly journey has ended, her eternal life in Christ has just begun. Her family and friends will forever cherish her memory, holding close the laughter, prayers, and love she so freely gave.
A celebration of Jane’s remarkable life and faith will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Bogata, where family and friends will gather to honor her legacy. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Bogata Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00–8:00 PM at the church. All who knew and loved Jane are warmly invited to join in a service of worship and remembrance, giving glory to God for the joy she brought into so many lives.
The family welcomes floral contributions, or memorials may be made to Gideons International in Jane’s honor, continuing her mission of sharing God’s Word and His love with others.
As we say our earthly goodbyes, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and give thanks for the beautiful memories of Ella Jane Glass. Her faith never wavered, her laughter was a blessing, and her love was a reflection of Christ. Until we meet again, her light will continue to shine in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
