Frances Imogene (Hervey) Lewis

Frances Imogene Lewis, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on October 8, 2024, in Talco, Texas. Born on December 29, 1934, in Mauldin, Texas, Imogene lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Imogene found joy in caring for her family and working as a custodian at Rivercrest School. Her hard work and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many, making her a beloved member of the community.

Imogene is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Cynthia Jones, and Terry and Lynn Jones, along with her grandchildren Shaunda Jones, Jeremy and Holly Jones, Courtney Jones, Samantha Jones, and Robert Jones; 8 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Blagburn. Their memories of her will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration. Imogene was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Aretta Hervey, husband Erby Lewis, son Randy Jones,  a great  grandchild, and brothers, Sammy and Bobby Hervey.

A visitation will be held at Wood-Haggard Funeral Home in Bogata 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2024. A funeral service, honoring her life and legacy, will take place at the same location at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2024. Interment will follow at the Cuthand Cemetery.
