Gar Burruss [Garlin Wayne]

Mr Garlin "Gar" Burruss, age 73 of Bogata died Wed June 1 at his residence. Graveside funeral services 11 am Monday June 6 at Smith Cemetery at Rosalie with Rev Billy Daniels officiating. Wood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mr Burruss was born Sept 23,1937 in Arkansas the son of Lloyd and Elsie Burruss. He retired as a heavy equipment operator working for the city of Bogata for a number of years in the water and street department. He is survived by five daughters Tina Mansfield of Florida, Glenda Saunders, Lindy Ervin , Cindy Maloney and Karen Calhoun all of Indiana, three sons, Lloyd Burruss of Texas, Garlin Wayne Burruss, II of and Jeffery Burruss both of Indiana three brothers Dwight Burruss and Jay Burruss of Missouri and Lucky Burruss of West Virginia, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Janet Temple.
