George Goloby III Obituary

On July 12, 1985, a baby boy was born to George William Goloby II and Diane Grayson Goloby. They named him George William Goloby III, AKA George, GW, Dubby, and Trey. He became a little brother to Amy Vanessa Goloby Dullum. George was preceded In death by his grandparents, George William Sr., Jacqueline Goloby, James E and Tedd Grayson, cousin Jeffery Singleton, uncles and aunts Jim Adams, Michael Grayson, Linda Grayson, Harry Farnham III, Ray Roesner, Mike Vukelich, Roger Owings, and Aida Goloby.

He was christened in the Catholic Church in 1985 and later joined the First United Methodist Church in Jessup, Maryland in 2024.

He attended school In Houston Texas where he received his formal education at Eisenhower High School. He briefly attended Lone Star College before  joining the Air National Guard in 2004 at Ellington Field in Houston, Texas and served as a weapons loader for the F-16 Fighter Jets and Drones until 2010. He served two years in the Air Force Reserve. George was awarded Weapons Warrier of the Base at Shepherd Air Force Base at training in 2004.

He further pursued his education by attending Lonestar college in Tomball Texas studying Art & the Art Institute of Houston studying Animation Art. He later attended Sam Houston State University and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.

He worked for the YMCA in Huntsville Texas teaching horseback riding while attending Sam Houston. He worked for Montgomery and Harris County at their Nature Preserves. George loved the outdoors and nature. If you found an insect or a reptile, he could identify it and tell you if it was venomous or not. He had a love for big dogs from his early youth, starting with Sport, Kyris, Shiro, and Brutus, who preceded him in death and his present dog is Koda. George’s final job was with SCA Productions in Dallas working as a Motion Graphic Artist, utilizing his degree, doing what he loved most.

"Trey joined SCA Promotions on August 22, 2022. There he served as a dedicated and visionary Motion Graphics Designer who profoundly shaped SCA’s visual identity. Trey was a wonderful addition to the SCA team. He possessed a rare, vibrant creativity that breathed life into every project he touched, introducing cinematic elements and innovative effects that redefined our product offerings. Through his mastery of motion graphics, he introduced innovative elements and groundbreaking effects that elevated SCA’s graphics to new heights. Beyond his technical brilliance, Trey was a cherished colleague whose presence will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him."

He loved and cherished his family. Left to cherish his memories are his parents George Goloby Jr. and Diane Grayson Goloby and his sister Amy Goloby Dullum (David), nephews Grayson and Bradley Dullum. Also, his aunts and uncles, Nancy Adams (Chuck), Cynthia Farnham, Cecilia Roesner, Celeste Durbin (Damien), Caryn Vukelich, Colette Durbin (William), Canice (William) Shelton, Catharine Owings, Camille Arnold, Mark Goloby, and Cressida (Tony) Talamas. George is also survived by a host of cousins and their children.

Graveside services for Trey will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Bogata Cemetery, in Bogata, Texas.
