Glenda D (Cruise) Carder

Glenda D. Carder, 64 of Bogata, Texas, passed from this life on December 5, 2021.

She was born on August 14, 1957, to Charles J. Cruise and Bobbie L. Stephens.

Glenda worked in the printing industry for ten years in Dallas. After moving to Bogata, she served for fifteen years as a CNA at the nursing homes in Bogata and in Deport. She was a member of Disabled Veterans of America and The Defenders of Wildlife.

Glenda is survived by her husband, David Carder; children, Charles (Jennifer) Carder of Kemp, Texas, Timothy Carder of Spring, Texas, and Tina (Long) Nguyen of Spring, Texas; grandchildren, K.C. Flud, Macey Carder, Hailey Guthrie, Tanner Nail, Livie Nail; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jackie Carder; brothers, Charles Dean Cruise and Jerry Junior Cruise; her parents; and her beloved pets, John, Annabelle, and Pete; and two grandpets, Pepper and Skipper.

Funeral services for Glenda will be held at 12:00 Noon at the Cuthand Methodist Church, in the Cuthand Community.  Interment will follow the service at the Cuthand Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
