Obituary

Gleyn Louis McKeegan Sr. of Bogata, Texas passed away in the early hours of October 20, 2022.  He was born on February 1, 1930, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Elmer Harvey and Violet Jane (Martin) McKeegan.

Gleyn honorably served his country in the United States Air Force.  He retired from Affiliated Foods where he served as a printer.

Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are his children, Deborah McKeegan of Bogata, Texas, Thomas Ray McKeegan of Mount Vernon, Texas, Daniel Wayne Barrett of Coweta, Oklahoma and Gleyn Harvey McKeegan also of Coweta, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren and numerous great and great- great grandchildren; brothers, James McKeegan and Albert McKeegan; sisters, Carol McKeegan Ailshie, Kay McKeegan Scanlon, and Donna Thompson; his first wife, Maybell Barrett; special friend Polly Luke. He is preceded in death by his parents, wives, Tommie Dean McKeegan and Shirley Deon McKeegan, daughter, Vicki Lynn McKeegan, son, Gleyn McKeegan Jr. and 3 brothers, Wilbur Lloyd McKeegan, Paul McKeegan and Wayne McKeegan.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Wood-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel.
