It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grady Williams, who left us on March 14, 2025, at the age of 68. Grady was born on January 16, 1957, and he lived his life to the fullest, leaving behind fond memories for those who knew him.
Grady was a one-of-a-kind character, always bringing a smile to everyone around him. He is survived by his sisters, Gladys Tiemann and husband Carl of Redwater, Texas; Dolly Ingram and husband Doug of Texarkana, Texas, his brother Wendell Williams of Memphis, Tennessee; special niece Tammy Powers of Gouldbusk, Texas, special great niece Shelby Powers-Moore of Gouldbusk, Texas, special great nephew Charles Powers. Along with many more nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Laura Lovell Craig & stepfather, Paul Craig, father, Grady Williams, sisters, Edna and Barbara, and a brother, Kennith (KW) Williams.
Friends and family will have the opportunity to celebrate Grady’s life and honor his memory. Graveside services will be held on March 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm in Cuthand Cemetery in Red River County, where we will gather to share our stories and fond memories of him. It will be a time to reflect on the impact he has had on all of our lives and to support one another through this difficult time.
Grady may no longer be with us, but his spirit will live on in our hearts. We’ll carry his laughter, love, and warmth with us always. Rest in peace, Grady. You will be missed more than words can say.
