Harold F. Edwards

Mr. Harold F. Edwards, age 69 of Paris, died at his home on Tuesday, August 02, 2011. He was born on December 22, 1941 in Paris, the son of Joe H. and Mamie King Edwards. He married Billie Earlene Bowden on May 23, 1960. He retired from Babcock-Wilcox after 31 years of service. He was an avid Outdoorsman and a World Class Traditional Archer, winning several state championships including Archer of the Year from the Archers for Christ Archery Club, and many other trophies honoring his archery skills. Preceding him in death are his parents, two brothers, Levon Edwards on February 14, 1990 and William Ray Edwards who died in June 9, 2009 and an infant son, Harold F. Edwards, Jr. on July 27, 1961. Survivors include his wife, Biliie Earlene Edwards of Paris; his children: Ricky F. Edwards and wife, Tora and Robert F. Edwards and wife, Angel of all of Paris; Becky Winchester and husband, Jerry of Mesquite; brother, Joe Hunter Edwards and wife, Shirley of Eagle Mountain Lake; grandchildren: Devin Edwards; Trinitidee Edwards; Mark Aaron Lester and wife, Raven, Shelton Lester, Dylan Jones, and Ranger Winchester; great-grandson, Bryce Lester. He was a loving husband, father, and "Pa". He will truly be missed. Private Funeral Services were held at Highland Cemetery in Deport , Texas with the Reverend Mark Sanders officiating.
