Hobert Lee Loven, age 94 of Deport, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Paris Nursing Home and Rehab Center. Chapel Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 20, 2011 with Reverend Jerry Smith officiating Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Wood Funeral Homes have charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home form 10 until service time He was born April 28, 1917 in Deport, the son of Robert Lee and Naomi Anne Bean Loven. He was a retired Co-Owner of Deport Hardware and Lumber after 35 years and was also a retired inspector for Red River Arsenal. He was a Baptist by Faith. He married Minnie Ruth Roberts on September 11, 1940 in Paris. She preceded him in death on May 8, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a sister Allene Hulen; and brother, James Loven. He is survived by sons, Jerry Loven of Paris and Mike Loven of Sweetwater; grandchildren, Eddie Loven and wife, Tonya of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Edie Lejas and husband Chris of Little Elm; Stefanie Day and husband, John of Corinth; Cassie Reyes of Sweetwater; 6 great-great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces and many friends.
