Howell Murl Potter, age 70 of Johntown died Saturday March 17 inClarksville.Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday March 20 under the Pavillion of Bogata Cemetery. Interment will be in Bogata Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 7-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mr Potter was born July 8,l941 in Johntown the son of Floyd and Willie Roberts Potter. He worked as a pressman for the Fort Worth Star Telegram for 32 years. He married the former Mary Ann Wells March 10,1962 in Bogata. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Potter of Johntown, two sons Monty Potter and wife Julie of Laurens Iowa and Joe Potter and wife Debbie of Ft Worth, five grandchildren and one great grandson, three brothers David Potter and wife Delores of Johntown, Mike Rector and wife Kay of Pattonville and Rickey Rector and wife Melinda of Talco, three sisters Louise Stovall and husband James of Marshall, Brenda Andrews and husband Ray of Quitman and Diane Garrison of Paris and numerous nieces and nephews.
