James Humphrey

Mr. James Leslie Humphrey, age 78 of Coppell, Texas and formerly of Bogata, died on Monday, March 21, 2011 in Gracious Care Homes Hospice Center in Coppell. Graveside Services will be 1pm Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in Smith Cemetery at Rosalie with Reverend Billy Daniels Officiating. Wood Funeral Homes, Bogata have charge of the arrangements. Mr. Humphreys was born June 27, 1932 in Bogata, a son of John Wesley and Sarah Raney Humphrey. He was a retired carpenter and served in the US Army. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Joffee and husband Scott of Austin; two sons: Jay Humphrey and wife Lisa of Coppell and Jeff Humphrey of Irving; one brother, Johnny Humphrey of Irving; two sisters, Calinda Corbett of Carrollton and Maedale Riddle of Paris; 7 grandchildren.
