Mrs Janet L Filkins age 68 of Deport died Wed March 21 in Clarksville. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Sunday March 25 in Wood Funeral HOme Chapel in Deport with Rev Gary Redd officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 7-8 pm Sat at the funeral home. She was born March 31,1943 in Wayne Michigan the daughter of Earnest and Edith Horton Bentley. She was preceded in death by her husband John Filkins. She is survived by her five children Jesse Filkins, Louella Smith and Rodney Filkins all of Deport and Earl and Earnest Filkins both of Blossom, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren two sisters Barbara Ballard of Michigan and Linda Herman of Ohio, two brotehrs Jim Bentley of Deport and Mike Bentley of Michigan. She was preceded in death by two sons Sam and Charlie Filkins four brothers Earnest, Bill, John an d Gary Bentley and a sister Gladys Myers
