 Jerry Wayne Richardson passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on August 14, 1936, in Sherman, Texas, Jerry lived a full life rooted in love, hard work, and family.


Jerry was a proud construction worker, dedicating his career to the commercial industry, where he built not just structures, but also lasting relationships with those around him. He honorably served in the United States Military during the Korean conflect. Jerry always believed in the value of hard work and showed that grit and determination can shape one’s path in life.


He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Perry; his son, Jerry Richardson II; and his granddaughter, Jessica Washington. He was a doting great-grandfather to Spring Blagg and Brandon Rosser, and to his great great grandchildren, Luxxton and Reese Chivers who brought him immeasurable joy and pride. Jerry is preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Mae Walker and his wife, Francis Briscoe Richardson.


Jerry was known for his warm smile and kind heart, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.


Rest in peace, Jerry. You will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing you.
