Jimmy Johnson

Mr. Jimmie Curtis Johnson, age 66 of Deport died Saturday Jan 21 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be 11 am Wed Jan 25 at Springhill Cemetery with full military honors. Services are under direction of Wood Funeral Home of Deport. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Johnson was born Aug 25, 1945 in Paris the son of Jay Clark and Bonnie Lorene Dougan Johnson. He married Sharon Farmer Jan 26, 1970 in Paris. He was a disabled Viet-Nam veteran serving in the U.S. Navy from 1966 until 1969. He is survived by his wife Sharon of the home, two daughters Kristi DeAnda and husband Daniel, Jr. and Mandy Cannon all of Deport, one son Bryan Johnson and wife Charlotte of Pottsboro, nine grandchildren, Josh Marr, Brookelynne, Brennen and Brayden Johnson, Kristen , Makinly and Angel DeAnda, Bailey Northcut and Lauren Frazier and a half sister Modene Lentz and husband Jack of The Colony.
