Jimmy Reed Mauldin

Jimmy Reed Mauldin was born in the Cuthand Community to David and Lydia Mauldin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Jimmy Reed Jr.  and Johnny Lee, two daughters, Teresa Lynn and Danita Ruth, three brothers, Billy, Tommy, and Danny, two sisters, Christine and Merle, also one grandson, Brian Nix.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Betty, two daughters, Becky Mitchell and her husband, Shawn, and Nicole Moreno and her husband Cisco. Grandchildren, Christopher Reed Mauldin, Shawna Elizabeth Alexander and her husband, Bill, Dustin Zane Travillion and his wife, Lauren, Colton Michael Travillion and his wife Caitlin, and Ashlyn Nicole Travillion and Demarcus Ingram. Great-grandchildren, Kaitlynne Mauldin, McCoy, Katie, Landon and Kaylee Nix Layla and Dylan Alexander, Olivia and Rylie Travillion and Tony and Becca Travillion.

Jimmy was self-employed at a painting and drywall business and caretaker at South Lake.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Bogata Cemetery.
