Johnny Ray Humphrey

Funeral Services for Johnny Humphrey, 78 of Irving, Texas, will be held on Sunday, June 11, at 2:00 PM in the Wood-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel. A time of visitation will be one hour before the service.

Mr. Humphrey, a welder by profession, was born on July 26, 1944, to the union of John Wesley Humphrey and Sarah Jane Holder, and passed from this life on June 6, 2023, in Irving. Among his loves were wood working, fishing, his Coors, and piddling in his shop.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, May Robbins Humphrey; his son, Kelley Robbins; his brother, James Humphrey; and sisters, Margaret, Mary, and Mae Dell.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lindsey (Monique) Robbins of Irving, Texas, and Amanda Humphreys (Mark) Kolenc of Saginaw, Texas; grandchildren, Corbin  (Megen) Robbins, Storm (Peter) Bonano; sister, Calinda (Thomas) Thibeau of McKinney, Texas.
