Johnny Wilson, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at his home in Bogata, Texas. He leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all those who knew and loved him.
A funeral service to celebrate Johnny’s life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, beginning at 2:00 o’clock at the Cuthand United Methodist Church in the Cuthand Community, with interment to follow at the Cuthand Cemetery; Bro. Jeff Duvall will officiate. A time of visitation will be held at the Wood-Haggard Funeral Home in Bogata on Friday, March 4, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and continuing until 8:00 o’clock p.m.
Johnny was born on April 30, 1964, in Hereford, Texas, the son of Bobby Glen and Virginia Ann (Miller) Wilson. He was a “proud” truck driver for many years, even going so far as to convince his doctors that he was still able to obtain his Commercial Driver’s License after being ill.
Johnny is survived by his children, Taylor and Hannah Wilson, Spencer and Andrea Wilson, all of League City, Texas, Hailey and Jarod Anderson of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Ava Wilson of Bogata, Texas and Madison and Bryan Grosjean also of League City, Texas; his eight grandchildren, Farrah, Aaron, Raelynn, Emma, Riley, Skyla, Camryn and Jaxon; his brother, Toney Wilson of Boyd, Texas; his sister, Gayle Perryman of Meridian, Idaho; and by three nephews and two great-nieces.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
