Joyce Morrow

Joyce Morrow of Bogata, Texas passed away peacefully Thursday evening, March 12, 2020 at 82 years of age.  She was born in the Jakes Creek Community in Red River County on May 29, 1937 to Lee Carl and Edith Faye (Cockerham) Goodwin.

Joyce was a homemaker and mother to her 4 sons.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard Lynn Chism and his wife, Carolyn Manos of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, Danny Joe Chism of Bogata, Texas, and Gary and his wife, Shannon Chism of Simms, Texas; step-son, Allen and his wife Mary Parker of Dimple Hill, Texas; her grandchildren, Jeremy Chism, Stephanie Chism, Camilla Legg, Tasha Chism, Michael Cody Lafferty, and Gary Shane Chism; 15  great-grandchildren; sisters, Berty Faye Fortenberry, Nancy Allston, Sally Branscom, Susan Crook, Polly Newton and Laura Martin.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Weldon Eugene Morrow, a son, Carlos Lee Chism; brothers, Robert Lee, Billy Pat, Jimmy Wayne, James Donald, and Douglas MacArthur kmGoodwin; sisters, JoAnn Davis and Deloris Lucille Phelps; grandson, Christopher Gary Chism.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the Wood Funeral Home.
