Kathy Jean (Parks) McFarlin

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kathy Jean McFarlin, a beloved member of the community who touched the lives of many. Born on November 10, 1954, in Paris, Texas, Kathy was a treasured daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She graduated from C.E. Donner High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and later pursued her passion for culinary arts, eventually becoming the owner of Catering for You in Paris. Her dedication and talent were cherished by all who had the pleasure of experiencing her delicious creations.

Kathy's career led her to Paris Golf and Country Club, where she continued to share her talents with others until her passing on June 6, 2024.

 Her presence will be deeply missed by her spouse, Thomas McFarlin, her son Tyler McFarlin, her mother Alice Gravatt, her grandchildren Lexi Spears and Gavin Spears, and her brother Darrin Hickman. Kathy was preceded in death by: Burl Parks, Brandon Spears, Gary Parks.

Kathy's legacy of kindness, dedication, and culinary artistry will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
