Kenneth Earl Claypool

Kenneth Earl Claypool, age 71 of Paris died at the Clyde Cosper State Veterans Home in Bonham on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Chapel Services will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 3:00pm with the family receiving friends an hour prior. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Wood Funeral Homes, Deport have charge of arrangements. Ken was born on August 26, 1940 in Cunningham, the son of Bercham Kenneth and Dorothy Kathryn Ashford Claypool. He retired in 2002 from Sysco Industries after 30 years of service and was a US Army Veteran serving from 1958-1961. He married Wilma Janette Farris on August 23, 2002 in Branson, Missouri. He was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church in Paris. He is survived by his wife, Wilma of the home. Also surviving are his children, Angela Beth Sulsar and husband, Terry of Paris; Kathy Sue Knight and husband, Val of Arkansas; and Rickey Dale Claypool and wife, Jane of Sulphur Springs. His sisters, Norma Sue Price and husband Don and Robbie Kay Reinhart and husband, David all of Dumas, Texas survive him; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many, many friends.
