Laurence Franklin Bush Jr.

Laurence Franklin (Franky) Bush Jr. passed from this life Monday, July 27, 2020 at his home in Rosalie, Texas at the age of 58.

Franky was born December 28, 1961 in Tyler, Texas to Laurence (Larry) Franklin Bush Sr, and Pat Bush. He grew up in Bogata, Texas where he attended Rivercrest High School.

Most of his work life was spent in the oil field. After that, he spent much of his time in the garden and tinkering on cars. His newest passion was recording videos with his brother and nephew. He often answered to his nickname, “Uncle Frankster.”

Franky was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Woodall Bush and by his father.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Pat Cox and husband Eugene of Detroit, Texas; son, Larry Dean Bush of Bogata, Texas and mother Melissia Miller of Clarksville, Texas, and (bonus son) Michael Jay and Jim Ann Dodd of Gilmer, Texas; his siblings, Kelly Lindsey and husband Joe of Bogata, Texas, Wyatt and Tammy Bush of Bogata, Texas, David and Susan Bush of Paris, Texas, Lore Lane Jones and Michael of Honey Grove, Texas, and Angela and Manuel Gonzales of Detroit, Texas; and by his nephew/son Kyle Mauldin of Bogata, Texas.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Wood-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel in Bogata, Texas at 2:00 p.m. with Visitation at 1:00 p.m.
