Lee Roy Bice, 90 of Dumas passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
Lee was born on February 25, 1934 in Happy, Texas to Joe Henry and Kittie Frances (Byrd) Bice. He attended and graduated from Crowell High School in 1953 and later served his country in the United States Army. He moved to Dumas in the 1950’s, bought McDonald’s Concrete and Insulation in 1974 and renamed the company Bice Construction. Lee was a hard-working man who enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Quinton Madison Bice, Joe Henry Bice, Jr. James Ray Bice, Lillie Mae Showers, Geneva Showers, and Jettie Lou Scheulen.
Lee is survived by his wife, Kathy of the home; his Baby Dog; daughters: Christie Causey and husband Matt of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Frankie Wehlmann and husband David of Katy, Texas, Lori White of Katy, Texas; son: Roy Bice of Dumas, Texas; 8 grandchildren; brother: Floyd Bice and wife Delores of Mabank, TX; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews and a boat load of friends.
