Lela Ford

Lela M Ford, age 92 of Bogata died Tuesday March 26,2013 in Paris Regional Medical Center Graveside funeral services will be 3:30 pm Thursday March 28 in Bogata Cemetery with David Ballard officiating. Wood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mrs Ford was born Sept 18,1920 in Hartshorn, Oklahoma the daughter of John Jewel and Ellen Spoon McCullar. She married Joe Ford Oct 10,1964 in Deport,Tex. They owned and operated Joe Ford Grocery until their retirement in 1986. Joe preceded her in death Oct 7,2006. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Dominic Buffo, a son Dom Buffo, five sisters Irene Stevens, Flora McCullar, Wanda Anderson, Leona Phelps and Mamie Bibbs and three brothers Dee, Carl and Cotton McCullar. She is survived by a sister Nadine Ward of Bogata, two grandchildren Michael Paul and Elizabeth Buffo and two great grandchildren Madison and Matthew Buffo as well as numerous nieces and nephews The family request memorials to Bogata Cemetery Association or American Cancer Society Online condolences may be made to www.woodfuneralhomes.net
