Linda Diane (Phillips) Bruton

Linda Diane Bruton, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on October 3, 2024, in Dallas, Texas at 67 years of age. Linda was born on September 10, 1957, in Greenville, Texas, to parents whose pride and joy she would forever be.

Linda dedicated her life to her family and her passion for quilting. With her skillful hands, she created beautiful and intricate quilts that will be cherished for generations to come. Her warmth and creativity touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Bruton, her sons Christopher and his fiancé, Miranda Mathews and Nicholas and his wife, Lyndey Bruton, her precious grandchildren Margo, Sawyer, and Olivia Bruton, and her sister, Annette Yager.  Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lillie Phillips, and by her sister, Jan Tackett.

A graveside service to honor Linda's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October  10, 2024, at the Lone Star Cemetery in Red River County. Those who wish to pay their respects to Linda and support her family during this difficult time are welcome to attend the services.

Linda's legacy of warmth, creativity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
