With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Louise Nolen, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Louise was born on July 19, 1932, in Timpson, Texas, and peacefully departed from this world on November 25, 2024, in Mount Pleasant.
During her time on this earth, Louise dedicated her career to the medical field as a Scrub Tech at Titus Regional Medical Center for 33 years, leaving a lasting impact on those she cared for. Her work ethic and compassion touched the lives of many patients and colleagues.
Louise is survived by her children, Sandra Parsons and Rickey and Sue Nolen, grandchildren; Kim Murray, Danny Beene, Kevin Beene, Ricky Beene, Julie Merrell, Jody Nolen, Michael Smith, Destry Nolen, and Chris Nolen, numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, sister Birtie Hess, and brother Carlos and Lou Ella Barr. Joy was preceded in death by her parents Mary Etta and E. Rastus Barr, daughter, Linda Smith, son, Randy Nolen; brothers, Ollie Barr, Jamie Barr, and Jr. Barr; sisters, Linda Morrison, Billie Birdwell, and Carrie Chaney. Their lives were enriched by her love, wisdom, and kindness.
The memories of Louise will forever be cherished by all who knew her. A visitation in her honor will take place one hour prior to the service on November 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at Calvary Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. These ceremonies will serve as a tribute to her life and the profound impact she had on those around her.
In her final moments, Louise was surrounded by love and prayers, finding peace in the embrace of her family. Though she may have left this world, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
