Louvinia Whitney, age 90 of Talco died Tuesday in Mission Manor Nursing Home in Mt Vernon Funeral services will be 11 am Sat April 20 under the Pavillion of Bogata Cemetery with David LaGrone officiating. Wood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends 6-7 pm Friday at the funeral home. Louvinia was born May 18, 1922 in Gilmer the daughter of George Washington Davis and Mary Susie Davis She worked a number of years at Hollywood Vasserette in Paris. She is survived by one daughter Joyce Huey and husband Charles and one son Billy Horton and wife Rhonda all of Talco; one sister Goldie Miller of Houston; four granddaughters, Pamela Parker, Pattie Huey, LaJuana Sansom and Crystal Horton; five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Mary Thompson in 2005.
