Nina F. Hays

Nina F. Hays, age 79 of Bogata, died on Friday, January 4, 2013 in Regency Nursing Home of Clarksville. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2:00pm under the Pavilion of Bogata Cemetery with Reverend Don Shovan officiating. Wood Funeral Homes have charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon. She was born in Red River County on December 23, 1933, the daughter of Herman and Agnes Elson Guess. She was a retired beautician and hotel manager. Surviving is her son, Donnie Hays and wife, Pam of Detroit; three grandchildren: Brian Hays and wife, Tara and Jennifer Hays all of Tyler, Markie Hays of Bogata; three sisters: Joyce Gibson of Woodland, Mary Jo Porterfield and Betty Sue Watts of Bogata; seven brothers: Jimmy, George, Don, Roger, and Gary Guess all of Bogata, Dale Guess of Honey Grove and Herman Guess, Jr of San Antonio. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lynn Hays on June 19, 2009 and her parents.
