Pearl Christine Spencer, a beloved member of the community, peacefully passed away on January 23, 2024, in Clarksville, Texas. She was born on February 22, 1930, in Clarksville, Texas, to her loving parents, Bob and Margaret Martin.
Pearl was a devoted homemaker, dedicating her life to creating a warm and loving home for her family. She married Edward Spencer in Texarkana in 1951. She leaves her children, Deborah Hudson, Othal and Virginia Spencer, Sandra Spencer, and Stacy and Steven Weddle.
Throughout her life, Pearl brought happiness as a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren: Emily Christie, Amber McGinley, Bailey Kelty, Alan Hudson, Lauren Mauldin, Alison Betts, Jalyn Raley, and Jacob Weddle. Her legacy continued to be carried on by her great-grandchildren: Keenan Hudson, Aspen Hudson, Hazel Christie, Jace McGinley, Ty McGinley, Sloan Kelty, Lincoln Kelty, Eloise Kelty, Rhett Hanks, Camdynn Gaines, Rylan Bates, Daxton Bates, Carter Raley, Carsen Raley, and Casey Raley; sister, Mamie Spencer and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Spencer, 12 siblings, her son-in-law, Johnny Hudson, and by a great grandson George Kelty.
Per Pearls request, a private family service was held at Wood-Haggard Funeral Home in Bogata on January 27, 2024, at 3:00 pm.
Her memory will live on, and she will be greatly missed.
