Priscilla [Priss] Lindsey

Priscilla [Priss] D. Lindsey, age 62 of McCrury and formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler on February 4, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 8 at 2:00pm in the First United Methodist Church of Bogata with Reverend Carole Sparks officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Wood Funeral Homes, Bogata have charge of the arrangements. She was born on April 14, 1949 in Deport, Texas, the daughter of Pat and Billie Scoggins Lindsey. She was a retired Registered Nurse and also had a Masters Degree in Public Health. Prior to her retirement, she was the Manager of the Case Management Program Department of Senior Affairs, City of Albuquerque; Director of the Welfare to Work Program, City of Albuquerque, and the Manager of the Albuquerque Office of the Area Agency on Aging. She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Sloan of Bogata, and her husband, Bo Krahn; her parents, Pat and Billie Scoggins Lindsey of McCrury; her sister, Patricia Lindsey Edmunds of Bogata; nephew, Shaw Roden of McCrury; grandchildren, Devynn Sloan and Gage Starkey both of Bogata; life partner, Dale Hillary of Albuquerque, friends, Larry Sloan of Charleston, SC, Carole & Ray Bonda of Albuquerque, Luke Sloan of Denver, and James Cotton of Denton, Ron Johnson of Houston.
