Purnia Mclain

Purnia Mclain, age 94 of Paris died on November 20, 2012 at Legends Healthcare in Paris. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 11:00 am in Springhill Cemetery in Novice. Wood Funeral Homes have charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends beginning at 6pm on Friday night at the funeral home. She was born north of Clarksville on June 10, 1918, the daughter of James Elmer and Minnie Lee Murray Smith. Her husband, Rush D. Mclain preceded her in death in 1986. She was also preceded by these brothers and sisters: Luther Smith and wife, Bessie; Arthur Smith; Lyn Smith; Fred Smith and wife, Eva Lee; Fay Christian and husband Coy; Ludy Farris and husband, Wallace. She is survived by nieces and nephews, including special Nephew Ronald Smith of Paris.
