Ray Earley

Mr. Ray Earley, age 73 of Bogata died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Clarksville Nursing Center. Funeral services will be 3pm Friday, September 28 at Cuthand Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Dillon and Rev. John Purviance officiating. Burial will be at Cuthand Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Homes of Bogata. The family will receive friends Thursday at 7pm at Cuthand Methodist Church. Mr. Earley was born October 11, 1938 in Lake Village, Indiana the son of Louie and Betty Bigger Earley. On November 19, 1960 he married Shirley Smith in Clarksville, Texas. He was self-employed. His survivors include his wife Shirley Earley of Bogata; one daughter, Kathy Hawkins and husband, Steve of Bogata; two sons, Audie Earley and wife, Tonya of Paris and Chris Earley of Bogata; two brothers, Don Earley and wife, Mary of Lowell, Indiana and Bob Earley and wife, Gay of Bogata; one sister, Jackie Dunfee and husband, Mal of Lake Village, Indiana; one brother-in-law, Gene Berry of Lake Village, Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson with a great-grandson due in January. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Berry and his parents. The family has requested donations be given to First Responders of Bogata c/o of Bogata Fire Department P.O. Box 488, Bogata, TX 75417 .
